We are happy to announce the release of Patient IO v2.3 “Camarasaurus” to kick start 2016. This is the first release of the new year which includes exciting new features for patients and caregivers. Behind the scenes, we’ve improved developer support for API and SDK customers.
Health Trends Beta
One of the most requested features has been the ability to see and identify long-term trends from within the mobile app, making it easier to show progress to primary care providers at the point of care.
This feature is currently in beta status with a number of upcoming improvements like trend lines, ranges, customizing which charts to display, and much more.
Patient IO now supports the Apple Watch. While still very early for medical application, we believe the future is bright for devices that “go beyond pedometer” functionality (or dust collectors) and continuously query important biometric data with less burden on the patient.
